About Missoula 4-H

4-H is a community of young people across America who are learning leadership, citizenship and life skills.
The 4-H Youth Development Program is the largest out of school youth program in the U.S., with over 7 million members and 500,000 teen and adult volunteers.
In Missoula County, 441 youth are enrolled in the 4-H program. Almost every 4-H member belongs to a 4-H Club, and there are 14 clubs to choose from in the County. There is no limit to the number of clubs operating, so new clubs can be formed as well.
4-H Clubs have regular meetings and are run by elected youth officers with the help of adult 4-H Volunteers. At club meetings, Parliamentary Procedure is practiced, community service projects are organized and accomplished, fund raising skills are learned, and fun social events are held.
